Black Dyke Band open rehearsal - Ossett Town Hall, 8pm
For die hard brass band fans this is your opportunity to watch Black Dyke perform their Area test piece, Cambridge Variations by Philip Sparke. We'll play our Area test piece, Essay by Edward Gregson.
We are the first band to take part in Black Dyke's Open Rehearsal. This is thanks to our musical director for the Areas, David Smith, our former principal cornet player who is a player in Black Dyke Band.
If you'd like to come along we'll be at Ossett Town Hall at 8pm. |

The Harrogate Band in Concert
Part of the Functions for Fun and Fellowship series
Starbeck Methodist Church, 93 High Street, Starbeck, HG2 7LH, 7.30pm
 Come and see us in one of our favourite venues. This concert always has a wonderful warm friendly atmosphere full of music lovers and fans of all things brass. We love coming to Starbeck every year. We'll be performing a mixture of classic brass band music like marches and hymn tunes along with some show tunes and original contemporary music for brass

The Harrogate Band in Concert
St Paul's Church, Main Street, Shadwell, Leeds, LS17 8JF, 7pm
 A lovely, friendly concert in this small church on the Harrogate side of Leeds. It's comfortable, the people are really nice and there's a balcony if you like looking down on the players to see what they're up to.
Book yourself in and they'll talk you in to a wonderful pie and pea supper in the church hall afterwards. You'll love it. It's a fine Yorkshire tradition. We'll be playing a range of entertaining brass band music including marches, hymn tunes, overtures, jazz, big band and a few solos featuring different players in the Band.

Concert for Christian Aid - Holy Trinity Church, Kirkby Road, Ripon, HG4 2EY, 7.30pm
 Now in its 9th year come along to the delightful city of Ripon and let us entertain you with an evening of exciting, beautiful and fascinating music. And, it's all for a great cause, raising money for Christian Aid.
Holy Trinity has good modern facilities and probably the best acoustic in which to listen to the band. It's also nice and warm with comfortable seats!

Acts of Remembrance - Harrogate
 We will be taking part in two acts of Remembrance.
Harrogate Cenotaph: 10:15am - We will be marching with the Tewit Youth Band in the parade and playing music at the cenotaph for the civic act of Remembrance.
Stonefall Cemetery: 12:15pm - We will be taking part in the ceremony hosted by the Rotary Club at the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery which has 1010 servicemen who were mainly airmen.
It's a very calm, reflective and peaceful place. Looking at the row upon row of graves makes you think and reflect on the sacrifice people made for peace in Europe, especially those who weren't even from these isles. |

Proms at the Swan - Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate, 3pm - 5pm
 Join the band for an afternoon of classic British music featuring all your favourites from the Last Night including, Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.
Sing-a-long and wave Union Jacks in the fabulous surroundings of Harrogate's finest four star hotel. If you don't know the words, just hum along!
A sumptuous afternoon tea will be served and the bar will be open!
